There is NO Alienware at CeBIT

But I got a chance to play with the Asus G73 in 3D mode

The only thing from nVidia at CeBIT was a show about its 3D capabilities. Multi-screens support with lots of bells and whistles and no hand-on experience. Nor did we see any cards

I 'd like to go back there on the last day but doubt that my work schedule would allow it. We have some other friends that go there today and Friday, so hopefully that between us all we will have enough material to make some senses

I think it's not coming out for current R2 anymore, as alienware would have done it already. My guess is, we'll see R3 in June for E3. We might even see a completely new m17x and then another refresh when 940xm comes out in Q3.

M17x won't be refreshed until next year when Sandy Bridge is released. The 5870s will be here very soon, they are scoring 13K+ stock with Vantage GPU.

Later this year they will be releasing a very special laptop and will be something completely different.
