Over-clocking is getting fun but I need to get up early tomorrow. I will have a lot of extra time the next few nights.

NW I wish I was rich like you. Tell us when you get. I know you sell and get a zero sum but come on?

It looks like that this comp overclocks with so much ease; or am I reading it wrong?

I wish I was rich. Maybe if it was just me, lol. I financially support a family of five.

BIOS is open to OC'ing and over-volting, plus you can OC the turbo mode setting further within Windows. Lots of fun ahead.

Wondering why they did not allow this with the nVidia GPU model.

I am very interested to see how this new comp performs in comparison to your upcoming ASUS G73JH.

I'm going to cancel the order for the Asus. I have no idea when it's coming in besides sometime in March....probably.

With that said because of discounts through work and a $100 off EPP coupon I was sent this morning from Dell I went ahead and bout this even though I had no intention to initially.

When will the R2 have the 5800s cards
before Jun / Jul 2010 ?

Also is it better to get dual SSD hard drive
for gaming will it help ?

Probably some time between March and July assuming they don't release a new system with dual 5870s. Then again I haven't seen anything yet indicating that the 5870s will have crossfire support.

Regarding the SSD it will help load times of games and in between scenes, of course it depends on the game. When you say dual SSD I assume you mean RAID 0 which I wouldn't recommend RAID to begin with. I would go 1 SSD + 1 HDD like I did with this one. RAID doesn't support Windows TRIM and IMO, it's weak in laptops.
