hey guy, if you want to vent that is fine. but there is no need for the caps and the large letters.

maybe if you spent some time collecting your thoughts you would be coherent enough to where someone would be able to help you.

I do not know your model but have you done the basics? Opened up and checked for blockage and then cleaned? Are your fans running on hi when it is running hot? This is important as if not running could indicate a failed sensor or bad fan?

Like I said I don't know this model but I would want to know did it ever function well. If so what changed? While not 100% true, in general heat causes MoBo failure not MoBo failure causes heat.

My list of top likely issues are:
Blocked airflow
Fan/sensor failure
CPU seating/thermal paste issue.

What to do?
Clear/clean
Confirm fans are working
Re-seat and reapply thermal paste

I know you are frustrated and I am no road map on controlling or containing emotions. That said unless you are to the point of throwing out the window (I have been there) you need to calmly and thoughtfully give us info if you want help. But like I said I have been there done that so not judging you.

Best of luck.

Edit: Not that your thread title is not eye catching, but? I think you could change it and get better traffic.

OK you cleaned? You confirmed fans are working? You correctly applied a good thermal compound? You have further confirmed temps are high with say? HWMonitor?

Yea I say throw it out the window! I hope you are not connected on that system at this point?

By the way red is a nice color for your post. It indicates alarm immediacy? While I am very forgiving of bad English as I suffer from also. You are starting to push my limits. Remember I am forgiving. Do you want help or just bitching? If the latter cool but I will spend less time trying to help.

I said it! OP do you want help? If not just keep going.

salman.z, ok you have your problems.

I recommend that you gather your thoughts, stop attention whoring and seek help the proper way. Using all caps and colored letters in your posts is not going to get anybody to respond any quicker, besides it annoys people, and makes you look like a troll that just wants to waste our time.

Now gather up and let us know what is going on, the proper way.

I think everyone want to ease up with the O/P as I believe there is a language problem here. He has went a way bit over the line with his colorful capatalized posts. Hopefully he/she can calm down and put the issues down so they are understood
post #12 of 19
No but really Moidock/Saug/Sal how does this make you feel?

Edit: Oh sorry our time is up.
I would be more than willing to help, while I do think that there is some sort of language barrier, OP is simply not providing enough details about what happened, demanding help in ways that are completely annoying and providing childish like responses to our posts (yeah, I know, pot calling kettle).

I would best he gathered up and let us know in the proper way what is going on.

Pizza came 20/min disconnect!
OK Pizza almost eaten. So OP has a problem and does not want to articulate?

edited before MOD's do! But a good read!

Just thoughts (post whoring).
Exactly.

Don't worry, mods are not as strict here so I don't think they will be editing your posts.

Anyway,

You mentioned that the issue is intermittent, and that the current prognosis is to replace the mainboard - which I tend to agree with, since you tried pretty much what members here and yourself suggested so far.

Acer has issue with certain models, like any other brands. Luck of the straw, for many the same model works

My recommendation is the charlatan approach of "baking" the board and hope that it spreads the "warmth" evenly, and cross the fingers.

cheers ...

That is too bad, if you take this issue with Acer you might get a spanking new Laptop.
