Upgrading my M90

I would like to upgrade my M90's Quadro FX 2500M (WUXGA) to another one wich support CUDA (2700M, 160M or any other geforce, i'm not sticked with Quadro ).

Is this possible ?

Also need to upgrade my CPU from T2500 to T7400 for 8GB memory upgrade but cannot find anywhere.

Any advice ?

You cannot use more than 4 GB (3.25 or 3.5 GB effective) memory due to the chipset your computer uses. To get around that you would need a new motherboard (which pretty much means a new computer when regarding laptops). Just to be clear, no M90 motherboard can use more than 4 GB of memory because of the chipset.

As for the video card, you may be able to use a FX1600M. I'm not completely sure though. I know the FX3600M is a CUDA card (you most likely cannot use this) so I assume the FX1600M is too.

As for CUDA, most developers prefer OpenCL from what I can tell. You sure you need CUDA?

Your computer is pretty much maxed out now. You would get minimal rewards from upgrading from CD to C2D and from 2500M to 3500M. The 1600M would most likely be a downgrade for many applications. The ONLY thing I would think about getting in your shoes is a T7600 and thats just maybe.

pretty much agree with the above.

maybe time to consider a new laptop if your really needing the faster peformance

sure a new laptop would be better and i already purchased a new one : Dell Vostro 1720 with 8GB RAM, and Geforce 9600m GS (wich is cuda) driving a WUXGA panel (1920x1200).

But my old M90 still performs well with Windows Seven and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.

edit : I need CUDA because of h264 encoding with "badaboom" and for realtime editing using this plugin for Premiere Pro.

doesn't work with OPenCL.

Hope a 1600M is working
thank you everyone
