So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.

I've got a sound problem, volume icon x ed out on desktop. says no audio output device installed. re installed vista ultimate with all driners, didn't sort it. Any suggestions? need it for a gig on friday so a bit concerned
It came pre installed with vista ultimate, worked fine, it was knocking about the office for a while without being used, so I've no idea what was done to it, hence the re install. when i put in the drivers disc, the audio driver was greyed out, it doesn't appear in the device manager, but i do have high definition audio controller under system devices. the driver on the disc was a realtek one but i thought these laptops nad onboard conexant cards
I had the very same issue when I installed Windows 7. No driver whatsoever worked so I went back to Vista Business and it worked just fine. Later I installed Linux Mint since it's now a backup system and I really like it.
1) Yes the sound works perfectly before Windows 7 (XP)
2) I first installed the 32 bit version and then tried the 64 when the 32 sound wouldn't work.
3)Yes I ran the W7 upgrade and it said all would be fine.
4) Yes I downloaded and installed the driver that bigloudron had recommended and it did not work for me.
I did not try the suggested driver in 32 bit could that possibly be my problem?
Maybe I should re-load 7 in 32 bit and retry the driver?
Thank you for even taking the time to read this.

I had the same problem with my M5500 and was able to get it to work with the 32-bit version. Silly thing on my part right after that I wound up switching it to Linux Mint.
Very cool.
I will do that right now.
I will also acquire Linux Mint and install and try that.
Very cool that you read and posted a reply to me.
I will let you know what happens I will swap back to 32 bit and try the driver again.
