HDMI for iDevices

Sanwa released yesterday an HDMI adapter compatible with iPhone 4 and iPad. It allows you to display videos from your device on your TV with a 720p quality, as well as pictures, presentations via Keynote, and any file Goodreader can open. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with earlier versions of iPhone or with any iPod at the moment. Measuring 53.5×53×13mm it sells for 5980 yens ($73).

Eye-Fi SD

The SD card Eye-Fi has the distinction of integrating Wi-Fi chip that allows it to send captured photos instantly to a computer or photo sharing site (Flickr, Facebook, etc..) without the need to remove the memory card from the camera.

Today, the company announced the upcoming release of the "Direct Mode " which will transfer your photos directly on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad wireless. Currently, Eye-Fi already offers an application for IOS, but it is limited to managing photos on the SD memory card with the ability to share different services or to his computer, but it is impossible to download.

The new "Direct Mode"will be available later this year via an update of the firmware the Eye-Fi card X2 only. Obviously, at the same time, the application iOS be updated to support the transfer of pictures to the device.
