Where to get a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 for my M5500

Thread Starter
My NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 in my M5500 is acting up. (White areas of the screens flicker light blue lines then the white areas turn light blue). Flipping the switch to use the lower performance video adapter solves the problem. My understanding is that one can get a GeFoce Go 7600 to replace the 6600, but I can't find where to buy it in the US. The MXM European site that's talked about in some of the posts appears to be out of stock. Is there any place else I can get my hands on one of these in the US?... What's a fair price for one of these cards?... I know, I know... I should get a new laptop, but times a bit tough right now. I might also consider a replacement 6600 if the price is right.

Thanks

Try to post in the "want to buy" section, and check the For Sales area whilst you are at it.

That MXM website no longer sells the 7600. It has been replaced with the 8600GT. Sometime in the near future, that will be replaced by an ATI 3650 or possibly the 4650.
I found a link where you can order the 8600GT for the m5500. I almost went this route myself but I was able to 'bake' my 6600 into working again.

Anyway, here is the link:
