Good centrino notebooks that you can pick up from a local computer store?

I live in Canada but will be visiting Seattle and maybe Portland later in May. Was wondering if there is any good Centrino laptop that you can pick up simply from a local store such as BB/CC, etc?

I'm looking for a laptop that will be able to play some 3D games, don't play FPS but a machine that's capable of playing World of Warcraft will be nice. So M10 graphic chip at least with 512-1G system ram and a fast RPM hard drive I guess? Budget would be under or around 2K us, any ideas? Thanks!

I live in Portland, you know we don't have sales tax here. We have a few Best Buys and Circuit Citys all over. If you know where abouts in Portland you are going, I could tell you the closet to you.

I have never seen either of these in a local retail store.

Just an FYI, even an M9 can handle World of Warcraft with ease. If that's as graphically intense as you can EVER foresee yourself playing than an M10 is not necessary. However, if you want to throw in an fps or be prepared for some other games...then go for the M10 and up.

Since when? Don't mean to doubt you, but unless they started carrying HP's business notebooks within the past few days, I don't think so.

whoops, you know what you're right. they don't have those models but they've got most of the undesirable HPs.
consider me corrected.
why wouldn't you order a computer anyway?

I would say the closest to "decent" is the Toshiba Tecra if you can find it. Compusa may have it.
