Recommendations for Studio 15

I think I am finally going to replace my Inspiron 6000 with a Studio 15. I haven't really kept up on the new technology, so I'd like to know what I should look for and what would be the best bang for my buck. I will be using it for web and school/word processing and no gaming whatsoever. I spend a lot of time on the web with multiple windows open and I do watch a good amount of video.

Suggestions on processor, video card, RAM, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Which processor would you guys recommend:

Intel® Core™ i5-430M 2.26GHz (2.53GHz Turbo Mode, 3M cache)

Or

Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Quad Core Processor 1.6GHz (2.8GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache)

I just ordered my Studio 15, I went with the i3 though, but from my research before ordering it there were some concerns about overheating with the i7s.

The best processor for the buck was the i5-520m which is an option at Dell currently I believe.

I would love some info in this deal. I can't locate the deal of the day.

This really isn't a deal. The system is the same price as without the coupon.

Yes, that is correct.

Ok. I was assuming there would be a code or something that would get me more off than that.

I think that more and more, manufacturers are doing away with "deals" code. A blanket discount announcement is much better.

cheers ...
