Black rubber 'bumpers' on screen question

Hi,

What is the best way to clean the screen and black rubber 'bumpers' on the sides of the screen (they attract everything to them and seem impossible to keep clean.)

I ordered my system with the infinity display (fake glass over the screen lol), can I use a solution spray (like Monster, etc) to clean the whole thing or what?

Thanks

From time to time I use soft soap, just dabbing it with some moist cloth and go for the spot.

cheers ...

Dude lol as smart as you apparently seem to be how could you do something so stupid? You never put soap onto a LCD screen...EVER!

Dayvid I bet he has never had a problem and has done on many screens. And do keep in mind he said occasionally on some spots.

Some say Distilled water and less than 50% IPA. Others say a capful of alcohol in a glass of water is plenty. Others say vinegar and water. I use solutions on my screen less than every 6 months. My normal cleaning is gentle rubbing with a very soft cloth.

Yes, it would be very very stupid to put soap on the LCD, or even "thinking" that someone does it.

That's why i prefer (and do) dabbing a bit of soft soap on a moist towel before going for the dirty spot(s) as mentioned.

cheers ...
