Hi MarkGee here, can you please let me know where I can buy the G73-JH-A1? I've been on J&R's pre-order list since January. I'm so frustrated that I can't find one to buy anywhere. Help! Seahands@aol.com or 727-934-4500 home

You can get it from GenTechPC or XoticPC.

Also, just so you know, post content in the on-topic sections of Notebook Forums is indexed by Google, so if you don't want the whole world to know your e-mail and phone number, I'd suggest editing them out of your post.

After playing with the beast today I understand a bit more about NWGuru remark about the rubbery palm rest!

It is being built like a gaming machine. And if one notices, even on PC keyboards, most gaming keyboards have this rubbery palm rest at the bottom as well. It is the same expensive material that I saw when visiting the gamers kiosks.

I think I sort of understand qhn do you give it a thumbs up or down?
Thumbs up all the way at the moment! It might not look as "nice" as an Alienware but it sure beats the heck out of it from what I read/heard and experienced

No it's a portable AC unit and a modular desk. I just got the whole setup including the chair this week.

Very nice. I am trying to get someone with the latest 3D comps and see if the performance can be the same when this option is on.

Are you familiar with the Artec 200 notebook cooler? Got a chance to see it 1st hand at CeBIT and I must say that it is better than anything that I experienced so far. The model is not new.

Yeah I've seen it before. If I remember correctly it's powered from the computer via USB which would be a no-no for what I'm trying to do. My AC unit is getting me 20c on the temps. So far I've very happy with it.
It must a newer version at CeBIT then since it uses external power supply.

Dare I say "sexy"? And styling goes with the G73 if I do say so myself.

It was one of the nice coolers that I came across. I need to upload some more pics for accessories soon.

cheers ...
