Give them a ring then. One day delay should not be so bad, hopefully not though.

cheers ...

First impression...short and stubby.

If I had to rate my last 3 systems as far as build quality from best to worse it would be the M17x, M17 then the G73. This thing is very "plasticy" and the palm rest and keyboard has a lot of flex. The lid is firm and the screen is nice. Not nearly as nice as the M17xR2 but just as good as the R1 with a little less light bleed.

More to come...

Now I am being anxious ... Keyboard with lot of flex eh? How hard do you pound the keys? One reason why I always like the external IBM old clicky keyboard. Firm!

I don't type that hard and you can see the keyboard bounce as you type. None of my systems do that except this one.

Need to test out with a rapid-fire typing and see if characters are being skipped. Gamers feel any other ways? No issue with the bouncing keyboard?

I'm a xbox controller kind of gamer.
And I can't use the controller for the life of me. Too much of a keyboard gamer

I could see the rubber coating of the G73 palm rest wearing out from "over-gaming".

It would be for any notebooks. I always carry an external (mini) keyboard for gaming.

Take a look at the bios pick after installing the 920. Another system with bios OC'ing.

BTW, the lid doesn't open up any farther than what you see on the pics.

Nice pics overall NWGuru, I see that ASUS has not changed much in the way of accessibility and ease of work on its boards

Nope, system board had to be removed to get to the processor and gpu.

The 920 is in now so I'll go after 17142 with a single gpu.

That's a shame. I use my computer at all sorts of angles, so I'm always somewhat disappointed when a notebook has a lid that does not open as far as I'd like.

Less than 1K from my goal of 17142.

So, how long would that last? 10 minutes for you to break the record? Nice going NWGuru.

cheers ...

NW GPU OC should get you there?
