And I always notice the the blue cylinder icon that always flashes(at front of the computer with battery icon), stops while everything else is still on, when it freezes.
I also can't find my receipt anywhere would it be possible to replace my charger by going to Best buy?

Thanks
You need to make sure you get an AC adapter that is compatible with your computer. To ensure that you have one, look on the bottom of the computer at the Asus sticker. On it somewhere will be listed required input voltages and amperage (and possibly wattage as well). For instance, on the bottom of my Eee 1001P netbook, it says the following:
Quote:
Input: +19V --- 2.1A, 40W
You'll want an adapter that delivers the same or greater wattage as your computer specifies at the exact same voltage. That should help you find an adapter that will work for you.

What is up with this ASUS G73JH Laptop. Totally disappointing, I went ahead and sold my Gateway P-7805u laptop that I bought broken... had to fix a few capacitors since the previous owner spilled water on it ... got lucky and managed to get it running again plus reflowng the GPU which is the 9800GTS 1gb. installed windows 7 and overclocked the video card to 733 core, 950 on the memory clock and 1866 on shader clock, use setFPS and set memory to 7-6-6 =15. did the copper cpu Shim mod didn't do the GPU tho.
running bios c.17 or what ever. and upgraded the cpu to the apple imac E8435 3.06 with the voltage pin mod. using MX-2 thermal paste 42C idle and 74C full load. after 5 mins. benched marked it in 3dmark06 and got 11933.

now with this Asus G73 8gb ram windows 7 64bit, Ati 5870 and only getting 11300 on 3dmark06 what the hell is going on I just sold my laptop for 550 on ebay and spent 850 for this POS Asus which is suppose to rock and can't even beat a 3 year old machine.
someone please tell me how to get this thing running at its full potential cuz I feel ripped off here. Am I not doing something that is needed to get above 15000K in 3dmark?

Yeah it's pretty lame calling a notebook disappointing if it's not the notebook's fault getting low performance. It's always aggravating to see people blaming the tool instead of the fool. Calling it POS etc.

I didn't bother replying, based on the language I assumed it was just a troll. Maybe someone who has something against Asus. Who knows.

I think the chap just has some unrealistic expectations.  :)

I limped in with 13,442 on my G73JH-A1.  I've been itchin' for 14,000, but I need to do a better OC on the CPU I think.
