I was curious could you get pcmarks also? Would love to see how the processor performs along with when the processor is overclocked also. Thanks, that is the only thing that is holding me back from making the purchase is the cpu. I kind of wish they offered the macbook air cpu on the alienware also.

The only thing "extra" I got was the 7300 CPU, and the neoprene sleeve. I can upgrade the memory and hard drive cheaper than upgrading thru Dell. I may be 46, but I feel like a little kid who can't wait for Xmas to come. Every time I see pics, I want it more and more!!!!

Anyone want a Dell Mini 10v? I'll probably be selling it when I get my M11x up and running.

You will love it.

Oh by the way, I'm 42 and the anticipation was still mighty high while waiting for mine.

Just re-ordered my M11x today. Why you may ask? Because, in Canada atleast, there is a sale on them for two days. So, instead of getting 2gig of ram, and a 160g hard drive, for the same price I am getting 4gig of ram, and a 320g hard drive. Can't argue with that.

My specs are: Everything basic, except I went with the 7300 cpu, 4gig of ram (base is 2gig) and 320g HD (base is 160). I got this for Canadian $999.00. I also got the neoprene sleeve for $30.00. All this, interest free for 12 months!! Dang, I can't wait now!!!

Is there a form, or a list of just what we should include when we test ans bencmark our PCs? I'm getting my M11x in about 2 weeks or so, and I'd like to do an unboxing / benchmark of it, accompnied with pictures. Never done one before, so thought it might be fun.

If you go into the submit-a-benchmark section you will the current list of what can be played with. Have fun and good luck.

To quote a portion of an email from Dell that I just got:

Good for you! I just got a look for the first time today some AW laptops. The 15x and 11x!

I was shocked at how big a footprint the 15 has. Its big. This means though that the 11" feels bigger than it is. I played some with typing/reading text and messing with graphics in paint. No games to test with though.

I noticed that the 4100 series on display seemed pretty warm on the bottom side just sitting at idle. Any consensus on how hot the m11x gets?

Sorry to intrude on topic! Attached is a pic I took
