M5500 (766) Wireless mini PCI Card problems

Hi guys

My first post

Last December I received as a gift an alienware notebook with some problems, I already solve almos all the problems, hard drive, DVD burner, memory, now I want to install a wireless network card, I've tried two cards, one Broardcom and also a Intel 2200BG and the two I have the same failure to connect and then disconnect intermittently and with a low performance.
Does somebody can tell if these cards are compatible with my Alienware?
or please, What can I do to solve this problem?

Stock calls for Intel Pro 2915e card.

Qhn is correct- the 2200B/G is for my version of the m5500 with the Pentium M chip.
