Nvidia GeForce 9800M GS running full blast 24/7?

Even while the computers sleeping or locked, my video cards pumping out exhaust fan like ive been gaming for hours. It use to never do this, and now, suddenly, all of my games are also getting super choppy after playing for a few minutes. I tried everything from clean ups to virus scanners and cant figure it out. It's annoying and my games arent working

Anyone have any ideas? Atleas to shut it up..

Have you cleaned out the inside of the computer? Dust buildup could make your video card overheat.
