Core Speed of new T9900

I have a question if someone that is running a T9900 could check CPUID. On my P-7811FX, CPUID is showing the following stats:

Under Clocks (core #0):

The core speed (at idle) seems to fluctuate between 797.0 MHz with a multiplier of 3 up to 1597.0 MHz with a multiplier of 6 and once spiked at over 3000 MHz. Does this reading fluctuate depending on the load?

Yes it does. This is due to an Intel technology called Speedstep. Speedstep dynamically adjusts the processor frequency between a defined minimum (800 Mhz in your case) and the maximum frequency of the processor (3.06 Ghz in your case), depending on the processor load.

Thanks. After I posted I ran some tests and it does indeed go up to over 3000 MHz with a multiplier of 12 under load. Thanks for the help.
