After being one of the early adopter of Asus Z71v, it is finally time to retire it.

Here comes the new HP Envy 15 to replace it!!!

HP Envy 15
- Intel i5-540m
- 6GB 1333Mhz RAM
- 1x160GB SSD + 1x250GB HDD
- ATI 5850 1GB Video
- 1920 x 1080 Glossy LED

5.2lbs!!!

Congrats on your new computer, smilepak!

I suppose I'll have to upgrade at some point as well, but for the time being I'll continue to be a Z71V holdout.

Looks pretty slick. I think I can get another year out of my Asus, as long as there's an outlet nearby.

Nice, I'm still sticking with my z71v for a while though. The Envy has no DVD drive though, correct? If so, I guess a usb drive could suffice, since it's not like I use my dvd drive that much anyways.

I am only holding on to my Z92, and about to let go/junk my Z83V (having a hard time repairing the motherboard).

Yep, HP Envy 15 does not have an optical drive.
