Alienware m11x Benchmarks

Here are some benchmarks for the AW m11x. I've set the system up to be connected to my LG 32" HD LCD TV via HDMI, and turned on the overclocking feature via the BIOS which takes the standard 1.3 Ghz Intel SU7300 and bumps it up to 1.73Ghz. Also, keep in mind these are the default benchmark settings as I don't have the time to go through and configure all of the individual settings.

Below are some screenshots of the results:

3DMark Vantage:

3DMark06

3DMark05

PassMark

Cinebench

I just got it this weekend. It turned out that "D. Hanson" is actually one of the postmasters for the military students. I am loving it so far, and will be in the process of drafting up a review hopefully this coming weekend.

Fantastic. How much memory did you get? For some reason it's not listed in your specs.

Thats the right amount. With 8GB it raises the price too much.

I am still trying to decide if I want one of these

If they had a I3 or I5 option probably would jump on it.

But still like the ideal of using this for quick trips and light loads

Maybe if I see it on sale for a decen price lol

It's pretty awesome. I'm able to watch just about any movie (To include ripped Blu-Rays), play games decently, and other mundane tasks without a lot of processor hassle. Plus it doesn't heat up as much as my XPS 16.

I was fortunate- I got mine through the military exchange service and was able to take off tax and shipping plus a little bit more, so I kept my config under $1,000.

THe M11x was just on sale a few days ago. Base model with ONLY the cpu upgraded to the 7300, was 9300. The sale brought the ram from 2gig to 4gig, and the hard drive from 160g to 320g. I kno, because I ordered it before the sale, then the sale started two days later, so I called in and the dude very nicely and efficiently cancelled my first order nad made a new order for the upgraded version. Everything remained the same price. Also, there was a no interest for 12 months thing too!!

Mine should be here in about 2 1/2 weeks!!!
