Acer Aspire 3680 Shift key problem (works on some keys)

hi,
i have been having a problem with my acer aspire 3680's builit in keyboard. i dont know what i did, but the shift keys stopped working properly.

when i press the left shift key+another key, like "d", it doesn't type a letter... but it works for "f" for example. Also, the right shift key seems to have the same problem, but with different keys. ie right shift+R works, but right shift+H does not.

also, it seems that if i hold the shift key, then let go and instantly press my desired key, it works.. but it's a pain and tricky to do.

i would appreciate any help to solve this problem. thank you!

hi,
no i didn't... but would these still be symptoms of me spilling something on it? i just find it strange that the shift key works if i let it go just before hitting the next key, but now while both keys are pressed. it seems like some kind of setting that needs to be changed, but i have no idea..

I thought maybe dirty underneath and not making contact all the time. Maybe try some canned air in the keyboard
