Compal cl56 optical drive easily replaceable?

Powernotebooks.com doesn't have the DVD burner in stock. IBuyPower.com does, but they offer a crappy WiFi card, crappy warranty, and look to be more expensive. If I buy from Powernotebooks without the DVD burner, can I buy it separatly and swap them out? Is this process difficult or is it a hot bay like on Dell's Inspirons?

its ez to swap

theres an unlock switch on bottom of ntoebook, press it then pull the dvd drive out from the lil indentation of the drive

donno where u can get one that fits that notebook w/ the same color tho

I betcha I can buy direct from IBuyPower if I ask nice enough. haha

Where can I get one that fits, though not necessarily the same color? How much of a difference can that make, anyway? On every laptop I've ever had, the only visible part of the optical drive has been the door.
