G73 and dual external monitors

Is anyone running dual external monitors with their G73? I currently run dual 24" monitors with my Dell M1710 when in the office. Looking at finally retiring the M1710 and getting a G73 but I see the G73 only has a VGA and a HDMI port. I could run one monitor via VGA and another with a HDMI to DVI cable but wondering first if anyone running their G73 this way. If so how well does it work? Any issues? Thanks in advanced for any input.

Not sure if it is possible. Does the GPU driver and app allow such things on this machine?

cheers ...

The nVidia drivers for my Dell M1710 support this. I would hope the ATI drivers do as well but I'm really hoping someone has done this and has some insight to provide.

Oh man the 1730 with Dual Monitors sounds like a Disaster waiting to happen. I just keep thinking about my fried GPU.

Huh? My 1710 has worked with dual monitors flawlessly for nearly 4 years now.

Connecting one monitor with a HDMI to DVI cable and the other monitor with a VGA cable works perfectly well.
