Hi guys. I have a Compaq C762NR with a Pentium T2370 CPU (1.73GHz, 1MB L2, 65nm) & 2GB PC2-5300 RAM. I've decided to get a better processor and I'm stuck on making a choice. I've narrowed it down to 2 models,
T7700, 2.4GHz, 4MB L2, 65nm or T6600, 2,2GHz, 2MB L2, 45nm.
The T6600 is $60 less than the T7700. I know the difference in clock speed is minimal, but I would like to know if the extra L2 cache is worth the added cost?
