Buying a Note - Suggestions Needed

Hi Fellows,

I am about to buy a new note, and would appreciate your kind suggestion.

I have an Alienware m9750, and it gave me great moments of joy. I might go for a M17x.

However I saw some interesting models at Sager, and doubt crept in.

I have approximately US$ 3K for this. Any answers would be deeply appreciated.

<Edit> I am looking for firepower and quality, exclusive for games, no mobility needed. May be heavy, cumbersome and with a battery life of 10 mins. <Edit end>

You'd be right in going in either direction. Both deliver power, you'll pay a bit more with Alienware for aesthetics...

If you can do with out fire wire eSATA or express card Asus G73JH is about $1600. You could upgrade it with your budget. This would give you comparable aesthetics to the AlienWare at lower cost.

So I think you should look at all 3.
