Hello,
been through most threads, but didn't see that one so; how to see HP HDX X18-1180US Premium Notebook PC monitor's properties and possibly calibrate it.

Right click anywhere on Desktop and choose Display Properties (?)

What do you mean by calibrating a notebook LCD though.

Well, I'd like to check display white temperature and such. How do I access OSD?

OSD? It should come with HP utilities for that model - HP Display Assistant.
