As per title, can't find one anywhere, in order to keep current I'm looking to upgrade to a card thatll fit in my e1705/m1710, thats this one.

Can't find any on ebay, save for one that isn't described well enough to actually be it. Hoping for 300-400 dollars or lower :P

I actually have one on my m6300.. but if i were to sell it i would have to look for an alternative card to put into my m6300. I do not really game with my m6300 anymore so I do not mind downgrading the card. Ill keep you posted.

Abso****intuckinglutely I'd buy that. What kind of price were you thinking of? I'm trying to find smth in the range of 200-300. Or lower, duh :P I think an fx1600m would work in there, or any older card that fit the inspiron. That's the beauty of the inspirons they were great.

Ask around, but I'm pretty sure this'll fit and work. Just ask on one of the forums, Usually dell is abckwards compatible and im pretty sure this one's the right form factor and fairly cheap.

Mind telling me what kind of temperatures you usually hit and if you overclock it at all? Like gaming vs. idle temperatures, and if you use powermizer to downclock it or not.

I haven't clocked the temperatures at all honestly, they sent me a replacement system that had the video card, ive only played world of warcraft on it so far. I've never overclocked it either, i was kind of pissed i couldn't utilize the x9000 overclocked on the m6300 so I've never bother with overclocking the computer.

I haven't really used my m6300 much at all in general

The price i am not so sure about yet. I'll keep you updated

Sounds good mate! Thanks a million.

You could also try overclocking the cpu at least with RMCLOCK utility, but I doubt that it's supported.

Still worth an attempt.

But yeah, If you sell it for anything close to 200-250, I'm insanely interested.

Would it be more advantageous for you to locate an FX1600m and cross ship that with orijin? An even trade? I say this cause their are tons of those available and if the swap is good for him, why not right =)
