Sager 5760 "Found New Hardware - Network Controller"

Okay, so I started having some software issues with my Sager 5760, amongst other issues. Finally it just stopped detecting my wireless card, so I'd reboot a couple times, and once every blue moon, it would connect wireless-ly. Finally being fed up with the whole scenerio, I completely wiped the hard drive, did a fresh install of windows using the discs provided by Sager. Now, on a completely fresh install, all drivers installed off the disc, every time I turn on the laptop I get the "Found New Hardware - Network Controller" wizard pop up. I had the wireless up and working just a few reboots prior. Intel is telling me that a physical wifi adapter is not installed, and I have the yellow ? next to network controller in the device management. I've installed the drivers, it's not able to find anything automatically. I've installed drivers from Sager and from Intel, I'm certain that Fn+F11 has been pressed and the wireless adapter icon is fully lit in the dash screen. I'm running out of ideas and out of hair. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attached are two images showing my issue.

first is @ almost noon - everything is working as intended

Second @ 2pm after I ran some errands and performed a reboot

I took it out and nothing looks out of place, but I ordered a new one just in case to replace it. Hopefully it won't be awful.
