HP cancelled Slate too.

I just realized the Apple camp has been unusually quiet with no hint of "sales are still going strong". Combine that with the cancellation of WinPads and it seems to be that the iPad was a 1-day wonder.

It's hard to say that one prefers something before a concrete review is being presented. The same thing with when one does not prefer something before having a chance to play with it

^^ I would say that anyone that has AT&T should be sweating at the moment, and that goes for home systems as well, even that AT&T believes that only its 3G network that has been compromised.

But yes, it does put pressure on Apple to look for another 3G partner

cheers ...

its an iPad-specific hack, so all the rest of us on AT&T had nothing to worry about anyway. the real thing that is up here is that everyone should be on the look out for bill phishing emails.

and the FBI's launching an inquiry into the potential cyber threat of the breakin, but it probably wont result in anything
