Inspiron 1100 BIOS update won't work...

I am trying to update the bios on an i1100, but it says it's the wrong system. I'm getting it directly from the Dell website for the exact service tag number and model. It has A07 and the oldest that Dell has is A23. Any advice?

Do you really need a BIOS update? I would call up support first in your case (error "wrong system" message)

The most current BIOS is A32 here.
