Compaq V6000 Tech Help

Hi All,

I have the Presario V6000 and it does not work on the battery. It does not charge the battery also...

I have found a melted chip (SMD 8 pins) close to the battery connector with location PQ1. Unfortunately I cannot read the specs from the chip. Can anyone check on the board the part number for that chip ?

Well.. I just need the part number for this IC. It is marked on the board as PQ1 It is the left top corner on the memory simms side.
