Complete care about to expire... Couple of question M1730...

Right now I have a fully loaded XPS M1730. My warranty expires in about two months and I am trying to figure out what I want to do. Since I have had my original warranty on my XPS 1710 I have had something like 5 complete replacements which is how I got to the XPS m1730. Since I have had so many problems (partially my fault as I am rough on EVERYTHING) I am really leaning towards upgrading my complete care warranty for another 3 years.

Roughly how much would three more years of complete care cost? The systems down or at least wont show me right now but I am assuming $300?

What machine and specs is the loaded M1730 being replaced with right now? Just wondering because I am not going to upgrade the warranty if they are not sending equivalent replacements...

if i am not mistaking most people get alienware m17x in exchange

i believe the specs of the m1730 does not matter, they will still look at the m1710 in determining the replacement for the m1730

and some in the same situation only recieved a XPS16 in exchange, so hard to count on anything from Dell.

IMO sell the M1730 and get a newer laptop such as the M15x or M17x

I would say upgrade the warranty at whatever the cost. I have it on mine, but it is not fully loaded. I only have the 8700sli and I don't game now. I have had the power brick replaced twice.
