M9700 Graphics Problem

All,

i have a M9700 laptop with dual 512MB Geforce7900G.
I have 9 lines appeared from top to bottom of my laptop screen and now today there is a thick wide band line again top to bottom of my screen i have tried to contact alienware but thats a nitemare

Is it my graphics cards on the way out or is it the screen

I do believe i tried it on an external monitor and everything was fine

Ok with external monitor then I would say it is your LCD.
