Hi guys, long time no post!
I finally upgraded my laptop from the old dv 9225 (bought it the day Vista rolled out) to the dv7-3079wm.
Yeah, I bought it at Walmart, but the wife works there so I got a 10% discount so it was a good deal.
Anyway, I travel & was wondering (I did search to no avail..) on how to turn off the HP bezel logo light so it doesn't suck up battery life while I'm using it on battery power when flying.
I bought a 12 cell (nice), & I use power saver & at times the HP recommended power setting, but I figured any little extra coudn't hurt.
BTW, the only thing I do not like is the keyboard arrows are tinyer & the screen is about 1/2 " shorter than my old 17".
This is 17.3", whoop de doo, but that little extra was taken away from the height.
