Where can I download Catalyst 3.8 drivers for the 8600?

I'm having a problem KOTOR. When I click on the EXE, I get an error message with some garbled text, and the program exits. I chose to scan my hardware through the game's configuration utility, and it says my problem is that my vidcard drivers are out of date. I suspect the problem I am encountering is because of these drivers.

The game requires ATI's Catalyst 3.8 or later drivers (according ot the config util). I can download only the official Dell drivers, and they were last updated in 2003. When I go to ATI's website, they say they do not provide any mobile drivers.

What am I to do?

download the latest omegadriver from http://omegacorner.com/
they install on mobilty cards, or download the latest from ati, go to rage3d.com and in the mobilty forums there is a driver modder that will mod the originals to install on laptops

you can also find these UP ABOVE where it says SOFTWARE, DRIVERS, UTILITIES!!!!!
its like my efforts are going to waste

No one reads anything anymore. I'm always amazed by people that ask "WHERE CAN I GET THIS??!!?!??!!?" yet we have the AMAZING tool in Google to find darn near anything. Not harping on talhasy; I'm sure it was an oversight. Just an observation. I fit into this category more often than I would like to admit.

So true. We are in the golden age of the Internet, with Google, DM's thread, etc, etc... yet so many people just don't bother.......... oh well, tis the life for me
