5793 windows 7 graphic issue

Righto, so windows 7 downloaded the driver for the graphics card and in games it works beautifully. But when in windows it seems to be running poorly. In normal applications drag and dropping images and what not is jittery. In my 3D CAD software the images is slow to respond. Now I would just normally download new drivers and see what happens but I'm over my limit and have to wait a week. And also the fact it runs fine in games proves the drivers work good anyhow. So I'm a bit confused as to why windows sucks...?

About your CAD app, is there any updates for it for W7? Disable disk indexing? Virus app used?

Have you tried BIOS Update?

Yeah, check for driver updates. You may also want to download directly from the graphics chip maker...check if they have a driver that suits you chip model. Also check to see if there is any BIOS update for your computer
