My friend bought lenovo G450 from me. The lenovo G450 has the following specs (Intel Pentium T4400 2.20G CPU, 2048M RAM, 320GB HDD, LAN, Modem, DVDRW, 14" HD LED Display, 6 Cell, OS is DOS. Since there is no OS bundled with the notebooks he decided to install Windows 7 after a few days he change it to Windows XP Pro and later on he change it back to Windows 7. He notices a bluetooth software after he install the Windows 7. What he has done is he uninstall it. After that he install the bluetooth software that he downloaded from the internet. But he notice it can not detect the bluetooth although the installation is successful. I don't know what happend. What i did is i ask the computer store where i bought the laptop for the problem. They said that the lenovo G450 has no bluetooth device and when i check the laptop of my friend i didn't saw any bluetooth switch.

But my friend insist that he use it before. He was able to transfer files from Cellphone to his laptop using the bluetooth. Now i am confuse. What is really happen? Is it true that there is no bluetooth device for the lenovo G450? but based on what my friend told me he used it before. I just want a clarification. please help me with this.

Hard to say unless you can be sure of the sub model number. Many notebooks bluetooth share the same "switch" as the wireless card and activated via a FN key.

Thank you for the reply sir. I already solve it. It was on the Fn + F5 key. The bluetooth was disabled by the user and that is the reason why it can not be used.
