I have been following Dell University and they promote a lot of great deals for students. I am not sure if this will help anyone out, but they gave us a coupon code to use. It is $50 off for spending $499 or more and the coupon is stackable; I believe (haven't tried it myself).

The code is: J3QH72D7?JV4BJ (Use it at www.dell.com/DellU)

The code is good through 9/30/10.

Another deal they gave out, http://bit.ly/9FjC1Q. It is a nice laptop case for $29.99. That price will blow Best Buy away, since I know they like to rip people off for a bag or case.

I get these updates from facebook.com/delluniversityfl or twitter.com/DellU_FL. Join the facebook fan/twitter page to catch these great promotions.

Well, I hope that this will help anyone finding a Dell laptop. I think I might use that coupon code to get one of those Alienware Mx11's one day. Have anyone purchase one of those yet?

They need to give students a bit more discount instead of the tiny 10%

Yeah, unfortunately. 10% could be a lot for a $1,000 system. They are offering 10% on all alienwares and another 10% on top of that with this promotion code: B980P775CS2Z02. That expires the end of June I believe?
