Question about mouse buttons and middle click...

Is it possible to make it so that when I click both mouse buttons on my notebook, it acts as a middle click? I used to have a Dell XPS m1210, and it did it on that. Now, I have an Asus x83vm, and it does not do it on this notebook. Anyone know of a way to make it do this?

It was convenient for browsing the web, and opening up new tabs in the browser with it.

Go into the Synaptics touchpad controls and see if you can find a setting for clicking both mouse buttons. The touchpad of your previous Dell may have been made by Alps and thus have different settings available, but I'd guess you should be able to find a similar setting with Synaptics.

I looked all through the Synaptics options and didn't see anything. I guess it was a different toughpad. Thanks for the help though.
