Hello Guys,

I am planning to buy
Dell Inspiron 14R New Laptop (T540507IN8) with below configuration:-

LCD Back Cover - Obsidian Black
Intel® Core™ i3-330M Processor (2.13Ghz, 4Threads, 3M cache)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Basic 64 bit (English)
McAfee™ Security Center (Multi-Language) - 30-Day Trial Version
Microsoft® Works (Including Microsoft® Home and Student 60 Days Trial Pre-installed)
1 Year Complete Cover Accidental Damage Protection
2GB or 3GB 1 DIMM DDR3 1333Mhz
320GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
12.7" SATA Tray Load DVD+/-RW
Intel® HD Graphics (India)
No Case
2.2AHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Battery

I have to use Laptop for usual MBA Stuff and i am not a gaming freak. Can you please advice whether i shud go for 2gb or 3gb RAM and whether i shud opt for
1 Year Complete Cover Accidental Damage Protection or
2 Year Complete Cover Accidental Damage Protection..

What are further pros and cons for Dell laptop.

Thanks in advance
Harry

I recommend 4 GB of memory if Dell is not charging too much for it.

As far as warranty goes, If the price is reasonable go for it, but moat times Dell will let you extend the warranty later if you choose not to buy it now.
