I want to upgrade the memory of a Toshiba t115D-SP2001.
Thanks in advance for all the help, I really appreciate it.
This are the specs:
Machine name: Toshiba Satellite T115D-SP2001L
CPU options: AMD Athlon Neo (1.6GHz) Processor
Chipset: AMD M780G Chipset
HD Bus:
Front Side Bus options:
Memory Speed options: PC2-6400 DDR2-800 200pin SDRAM SODIMM
I want to know if I can use some old memory sticks of my Inspiron XPS Gen 2 on it. This are the specs of the XPS Gen 2.
Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2 DDR2 533MHz SO-DIMM memory upgrades
* Your Dell Inspiron maximum RAM capacity: 2GB
* The Inspiron XPS Gen 2 has 2 memory slots or sockets
* This Inspiron module upgrade PIN count is: 200-PIN
* The memory speed is: DDR2 533MHz, PC2-4200
* The DIMM type for your Inspiron XPS Gen 2 is: SODIMM, SO-DIMM, Small Outline DIMM
The memory I have in the Gen 2 is 533 and the 1gb stick on the Toshiba is 800.
If the memory of the Gen 2 is compatible with the Toshiba, does it matter if I use one stick of 1gb of 533 and the other one of 800?
