The fastest mobile GPU out today and can only be found on Clevo notebooks. Anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on one so I can replace my GPU?

Even if you have a notebook with an MXM type 3.0 B video card connector that would accept one, they aren't going to be available for separate purchase for a while. Still, you can check with MXM-Upgrade to see when they estimate the cards will be available.

I don't suppose that connector is the same as the one installed in the NP8120 or the NP8760.

I'm not sure if either of those models has a standard MXM connector or not. You'd have to ask a reseller.

Well well well, I took a look at the GTX 285, which will be in the model I'm purchasing, and it DOES in fact use the same MXM Connector, both 3.0 Type B. Now I just need to see if I can switch them out once these nice GTX 480M come out

It'll take a while for them to come into stock, they're only new after all!

Great!

With the same MXM connector, it shouldn't be too difficult to swap out the new video card for the older one. After you open the chassis and take out the heatsink, all you should need to do is take out some screws, pop out the old card, pop in the new, and put the screws back in. Then use your preferred thermal paste on the GPU die, re-attach the heatsink, close the computer back up again and you're good to go. The only problem some folks have run into is that they need a special BIOS version before they do this in order to recognize the new card. You can check with your reseller or manufacturer about this.
