Alienware m15x (i7) BIOS questions

hey....just had a couple of questions on the AW A06 bios...or any version for that matter...

I have the 1.6 GHz CPU...(forget the model name)...

1st question: How on earth do you enable SMART monitoring? It's not grayed out...it is listed in BLUE lettering...but no matter what I seem to try I can't enable it.....EXCEPT...I did once but discarded the changes to try and do it again (yes...that was pretty stupid) and now I have no idea how to do it again

2nd Question: Is it possible to use faster than 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM...since there is an option to set the clock frequency of the RAM to 1600? Also, what are the wattages used for? Overclocking? Is that possible? lol sorry for so many questions...this computer really fascinates me though!

3rd Question: I think its on the first screen...the CPU Cache only reas 1024 (I think...I know its 1000 something) KB ~ 1 MB...but I thought this processor had more Cache...thought it was like 3 or 6 MB?

LOL...I think that's it...nice easy post to answer so please.....don't all answer at once as it will take me far too long to read all of those replies.

2) If I am not mistaken you already have the fastest notebook ram there is out there. Wattage is not being used for OC, voltage does - at least in my old OC days.

3) The system will use the cache as it sees fit, but not necessarily showing that at boot time since it is dynamic.

cheers ...

Hey thanks for your reply...by any chance did you know the answer to the SMART question?

SMART enable - combination of BIOS and Hard drive spec/driver. If hard drive cannot support it, it won't work. If hard drive supports it but missing driver/firmware it won't work.

cheers ...

I'm sorry....so does that mean I don't have all my drivers installed?
