keyboard light problem

i had to do a system recovery to my m15x windows vista and when i reinstalled the drivers and command center the keyboard does not light up and the command center does not even recognize that it can light up. how do i get this problem fixed?

using the old CC from the resource disk with bios A05 breaks the lighting entirely. It fries the alienfx controller.
You will need to contact support and get someone to come out and replace the board.

WARNING: M15x owners with A05 do not install CC from resouce disk.

The Command Centre from the resource disk should not break anything when updating the BIOS. The issue can arise, in some cases, when one updates the Command Centre and then trying to go back to sort out the issue by re-installing the CC.
