Is the M9700 and M9750 laptop chassises compatible?

I had bought a used alienware M9700 that has a AMD Turion 64 ML-44 processor in it. I want to swap out the motherboard, processor and, memory and put in an the Intel motherboard with dual core processor from my M9750 I also bought used. Could I upgrade my M9700 chassis cover with my M9750 cover? Any info would be a great help..

Hello; I have both, a M9700 and a M9750 and from every thing I have seen (yes I have been on the inside of both) they are physically the same. I have though long and hard about purchasing a used M9750, to replace the AMD Athalon processor board. I would get the performance of the M9750 and the looks of M9700 Aurora. I think the blue M9700 Aurora is one of the best looking computers that Alienware has put out.
