Yeah... She knows. My comp can tell that I'm not going to use her as much... and she's happy! Heck... it's been running better and better. It likes my Mom since she just does web browsing... I push it to the limits and then some. But... in other news...

I check mine as much as possible... Maria from the order status team says it'll ship monday the latest. Alienware is great... I have 2 people minimum watching my system right now.

what days of the week do they actually do stuff with the machine?

cuz i saw sales is open Mon - Sat, but does that mean they're doing stuff with your machine Mon - Sat? or just on Mon - Fri?

is it possible to go frlom phase 9 to phase __ today?

man you have waited so long for your baby alien, is that normal??? or is this a one off, I mean even before the card was diag bad, it was still quite a while.

I hope for the life of me that I don't have to wait that long, they say mine should ship on the 24th

I'm a special case... Iv waited ALOT longer than everyone else... mostly because I made a change in the order and I got a bad vid card first try. Order changes really do hang it up... but sometimes it's worth it. Also.. the estimate was the 11th for ship because of the delay on my 9700. They would have made it if not for the faulty vid card problem.

Don't worry about the sig clone... I picked and chose afew ideas from other people, and I don't care about that stuff anyways. Your particular change didn't delay.... because it was still in payment processing. Mine got knocked back to phase 2 since I had already gotten past that stage. Also... I paid by check so I had to wait for it to get there. That was a 6 day delay itself... 3 days for the first check, 3 days for the second.

You know instead of the boring 'straight down the screen" way they have the phases arranged they really ought to make them look like a board game. Sort of the "Chutes and Ladders" of the computer waiting game. Faulty video card, slide back to phase 9, etc.

I think thats a wicked good idea, aliens and spaceships they should call it

paying by check in this day and age ????? my god thought checks didnt exist anymore. I took out a loan to buy this computer. I thought I was only gonna spend £2100, but now it's up to £2380, so I think the reason we are here talking is cause we are insecure because of the waiting, but also, cause it's a lot of money.

Oh yeah plus, WE WANTS IT NOW!!!!

Checks are the best... No intrest and no bank breathing down your neck. You have to save up longer though... to have the money on hand.

have you recieved your computer yet bro...i was reading through the thread and lol...i am surprised your not in a loony bin or somethng...looks like you were bouncing off the wall...at least you don't have to feel my pain...i am only in phase 3 and its getting shipped to my home in the states...and then my wife has to snail mail it to my APO address wich could take an additional 3 - 4 weeks...then its to the big sand box...so hopefully i get it before then...or i will be taking it out on some iraqi prisioners...lol...ok i'm sorry that wasn't funny...lol...

because if i had it shipped directly to my apo address through AW i could risk them sending it Regular regular none express mail through the postal service...then it could get delayed even further because it would come here on one of those slow a$$ ships that have to come accross the ocean. vs. express mail which comes via plane...still avg. wait can be a month sometimes less if i am lucky. and i didn't want to risk them trying to save a few bucks and ship it reg. mail...so i am having my wife fork out the additional (from my checking go figure) to mail it from our house back there in the states...

i hear you on that bro...so whats the hold up on yours? have you recieved yours...ya know this kinda sucks being on the other side of the world...only those alien addicts that don't sleep waiting for the 'precious' to get there post during the times that i am awake...its kinda like counter strike with some serious lag....you have to wait a full day to have some more people post. its currently 2:01 PM 13JUN04 here...while in the states its 01:01AM EST 13JUNO4
