Steal 3g card??

Hey there,
Is there any chance I can 'Steal' a 3g connector thing from another netbook and put it in my laptop?

Your notebook model? The other notebook model?

Wireless cards can most of time be swapped between notebooks unless there is some hardware ID lock from the manufacturers or different form factors.

My laptop is a hp tm2 (4gb ram 500 hdd) and the other one with inbuilt 3g is anything I can get my hands on lol.

Yeah, mobile networking. I'm not very tehnologically minded!

Not sure. In theory it is just a SIM card reading device with an antenna. How it is being interfaced with the notebook I haven't yet tried to open it up in my Sony. But then there is a software issue, mostly "locked" by the provider of the SIM and the device that it carries.

Tough call, really.
