Interesting article regarding Opera is about to be bought by ... Facebook (???)

http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/45795/facebook-browser-opera-software-buyout

Is there something going on with the online social sites? First Yahoo with its "own" browser, and now Facebook?

Opera 12.10 is now available. With better integration for both Windows and Mac

Improvements for Windows

We always strive for the best possible integration with your operating system. We now support inertia scrolling and pinch-to-zoom on both Windows 7 and the brand new Windows 8! Combined with support for International Color Consortium (ICC) profile v4 (pew, don't try to say that ten times fast), Opera makes the web look more vibrant and colorful than ever before.

Retina and sharing on Mac

The latest update to Mac OS C Mountain Lion introduced a ton of new things we could play with. We are happy to say that Opera now makes full use of the new features such as Notification Center and built-in sharing for your favorite social networks. Most stunning of all with the new support for Retina Displays we are now able to showcase an even more beautiful web experience for all Mac users!

Top extensions

Opera 12.10 adds support for a wide array of new extensions. We have even teamed up with some of your favorite sites and developers to make Opera Extensions even more awesome
