Put it on eBay and see. I would venture to say about $1200-1400. No chance to return it and pay restocking fee?

cheers ...

Unfortunately no, I have already passed their limit on the number of days between purchase and returns...

Why would you say the price to be so low if it's barely used and comes with everything in the retail box??
Once you opened the box and started the system it is being considered "used", this alone would drop the price a good 100-200 depending on the brand/model - that what people feel.

Your best bet is find someone that you know and is looking for the same machine and offer it, and providing that the warranty can be transferred and everything else.

cheers ...

How much did you pay for it? I'm having the same problem selling an HP 8540w that I haven't even power on yet. I ask on nbr and the people over there also seems to think that it's worth only about 1400-1600 when I paid over 2k for it.

I guess fading, ya have to find the right buyer. Most times when you get up in that price range people are looking for top end vid card, n processor...If your case that sounds like more of a business type laptop which you'd have to find that type of buyer. I'd say throw it up on ebay and see what it goes for...

The only laptop I know to hold value is a Alienware, 2 year old ones still go for over 1200 on ebay.
