Hello
I am hoping that someone can shine some light on this for me
I was using the notebook yesterday with no problem, on line doing some web designs and everything worked fine.
Today I went to get online and my WiFI indicator has red X on it
and no matter what I do I cant get it to work
I have reinstalled the Broadcom drivers, reinstalled the chipset drivers, checked under services to make sure that nothing is turned off by accident, and I can not find anything unnormal
If anyone could suggest anything that would be great
I am running Win7 64bit with 8 gig of ram etc
I will say this, couple of times I got it to come up, where you see the yellow star on it, and it did see the network, but when I tried to connect to it, it told me that it could not make the connection at this time, or something close to it.
I know the wifi works, I am on my other notebook as I am typing this, and there are no issues with it
Please, any suggestions will be welcome
Thank you
Mark
P.S. I noticed that if I connect a regular Cat5 into it, the WIFI comes to life as well, and it connects
The moment I disconnect the cable the wifi stops working.
