Anyone know the BIOS path to check if onboard audio is enabled, getting code 10 when installing audio driver.

Any help much appreciated.

Realtek has R2.49 driver for Vita and Windows 7 64-bits - have you tried it yet?

Yes, but device cannot start code 10 usually means it is disabled in the BIOS, MS windows audio service is started and automatic, so I need an insight to the BIOS setup.

No a 'code10' in windows usually means the wrong driver is installed and with an audio driver, you need to kick out the wrong one or you'll struggle to get the right one installed... You don't usually get the option in many laptops to enable/disable audio as it was deemed unnecessary due to the lack of external soundcards...
